Advani, Modi and Nitish Kumar

A just analysis of communal politics in India exposes that Advani was the pioneer of communal politics based on religious discrimination and disharmony. It is Advani who made Ayodhya issue a national politics and communalized entire country which resulted in demolation of Babri Masjid . When he became the home minister of India, minority communities particularly Muslims were living under the sense of fear. He sharpened and deepened the fascism of Hindutva forces and anti-democratic groups. This changed the politics in India. Even so-called secular parties started to utilize this situation of fearfulness and the whole agenda of strengthening the country and development in various fields derailed and paralyzed. No one gained except the politicians. Modi is nothing but like an obedient child in comparison with Advani in the case of communalism and politics of hatred and enmity. It doesn’t mean that Modi is a lesser threat to a prosperous, democratic India than Advani. Both are equal in this regard. Nitesh Kumar and other those who are projecting Advani as an acceptable face for the prime minister ship, in fact they are not against fascism and communalism. This is a politics of the within and the competitiveness for the highest post. But the problem is that the progressive, wise and aware people of India are not going to vote for these champions of fascism. Actually it’s a created, sponsored, media centered and industrialists managed drama without any link to the common man of the country.
